Step 1 - Unroll the Rubber flooring roll

The rubber flooring comes in rolls. Set the roll in the middle of where you plan to put it and unroll it. Lay it flat and let it relax and lay itself out smooth. Leave it like that for at least 24 hours so that the wrinkles it might have gotten while rolled up can come out.

Step 2 - Fit the Strips

Once the rubber flooring rolls have relaxed cut them into strips, whether diagonal, short or long, depending on what your final patterned flooring design is going to look like. Do not cut them exact at this point however. Cut them with at least a foot longer on each border, so you can correct any measurement mistakes you might have made, when you're doing the final cutting and fitting.

Step 3 - Trim the Rubber

Place the strips in the pattern that you want them. Once they are in position, begin to trim the edges so that they line up properly. Make sure you have a sharp knife and a straight edge, for example a yard-ruler.

Step 4 - Apply the Adhesive

This process is probably the most time-consuming as you have to allow for time for the adhesive to set. You can remove the strips one by one or you can remove up to about five tiles depending on their sizes. Rubber Flooring Rolls are a good alternative as flooring for a busy office. For instance, rubber flooring will help to adjust the sound from people walking through the office.. If you continue to get spills on the carpet then stains will start to build up on the carpet.
